Homeless Support & Resource Drives – Providing food, clothing, and essentials to individuals and families in need.

Outreach

Our outreach honors Eddie Munford’s legacy by meeting real needs in the community. Each year, we host Community Connection Day and provide support for those experiencing homelessness, and run our Annual Back-to-School Drive to equip students for success. Through food drives, scholarships, and mentorship, we create spaces where hope, dignity, and opportunity thrive.

Scholarship

We award scholarships to students pursuing their education, giving young people the opportunity Eddie always encouraged. We also host community events that inspire mentorship, leadership, and growth.

Honoring a legacy of service, strength, and community.

The EJM Homeless and Scholarship Fund, Inc. was born from both heartbreak and hope. On August 27, 2021, our community lost Edwin James “Eddie” Munford — a husband, father, brother, mentor, and friend whose presence lit up College Park and South Fulton. Eddie was more than a coach on the field; he was a coach in life. He believed in people, pushed them to reach their potential, and gave of himself without hesitation.

To honor his legacy, the City of South Fulton proclaimed June 5th as “Edwin James Munford Day.” On that day each year, the community gathers not just to remember Eddie, but to keep his spirit of service alive.

Eddie’s wife, Yulanda Munford, alongside family, friends, and community partners, created the EJM Homeless and Scholarship Fund to carry forward his mission. The fund provides resources for individuals experiencing homelessness and scholarships for young people pursuing education — two causes close to Eddie’s heart.

This work is about more than charity. It’s about continuing Eddie’s life’s purpose: lifting others up, creating opportunity, and leaving no one behind.
